Direct or indirect observing of laser beams, reflected beams and scattering beams from laser is forbidden. Direct observing of laser beams from hand piece is definitely prohibited, or it may cause damage to retina.
Normal Ocular Hazard Distance (NOHD)
NOHD means that irradiance or exposureis lower than the Maximum Permissible Exposure (MPE) distance under ideal conditions. The NOHD value of this product is 3.3km.
An obvious sign shall be marked where the safety goggles are placed in laser workshop. Make sure all personnel and patients wear safety goggles to protect eyes’ from being injured.
Safety goggles with relevant wavelength, which meet eye protecting requirements, are randomly equipped with the device.

Treatment principle for pigmented dermatosis of Q Switched Nd: YAG Laser Therapy system lies in selective photothermolysis with melanin as the chromophore. Q-Switched Nd:YAG has higher Peak power and nanoseconds-level pulse width. Melanin in melanophpre and cuticle formed cells have a short hot relaxation time. It could immediately make small selectively energy absorbed granules (tattoopigment and melanin) blast without injuring surrounded normal tissuer. The blasted pigment granules will be exereted from body through circulatory system.
